SAMUEL KAY - Great-great-grandfather of our Senior (7th) generation

Samuel Kay (3rd generation), second son of Charles Samuel Morris Kay and Mary Kay (née Conen), was born on March 5th 1808 in the City of London and baptised on April 3rd 1808 at St Mary the Virgin, Aldermanbury, City of London.
On September 25th 1836 he married Elizabeth Donald at St Bartholomew the Great, London. The daughter of John Donald and Sarah Chap(p)ell, Elizabeth was born in 1807 and baptised on October 25th 1818.
Samuel and Elizabeth had six children:
(1) Emma Helen (Hester/Esther) was born 9/4/1837 and baptised at St Luke's Church of England, Old Street, Finsbury, London on 29.4.1838. Emma did not marry.
(2) Sarah Ann was born 28/10/1838 and baptised at St Luke's Church of England, Old Street, Finsbury, London on 11.11.1846. She died in the December Quarter of 1849 in East London.
(3) Robert was born on 27/7/1844 at St Luke's, Middx, London and baptised at St Thomas Charterhouse, Finsbury, London on 27/3/1853.
(4) George was born c.1847 at Holborn, London and baptised at the same time and at the same church as Robert.
(5) Frederick was born on 1/10/1846 and was also baptised at the same time and place as Robert.
(6) Charles was born on 7/5/1849 at Ironmonger Row, Holborn and baptised along with his three brothers on the same day at St Thomas Charterhouse
The family is listed as coming from the parish of St Luke.
We have no further information on Elizabeth Donald's family.

CHARLES KAY - Great--grandfather of our Senior (7th) generation

Charles Kay (4th generation) was the sixth child of Samuel and Elizabeth Kay (née Donald) and was born on 7/5/1849 at Ironmonger Row, Holborn; was baptized on 27/3/1853 at St Thomas Charterhouse, Finsbury and died around 1929. He married Mary Ann Oxley on April 11th 1869 in the parish of St Giles, Cripplegate, East London. Mary was born in 1850, the daughter of James Oxley and Mary Ann Gray and died in 1874.
During their five years of marriage Charles and Mary had at least three children:
Charles Henry was born c.1870, William was born 12/9/1871, at St Luke's and died in 1958, and Mary Ann Elizabeth (Mollie) (born 1874, City of London).
