Ann Caroline Louise Chapman was born on February 17th 1874 at 5 Bowling Green Walk, Hoxton, Shoreditch, London and was the eldest child of Alfred Henry Chapman and
Ann(e)retta Louisa Pritchard. On 18/4/1896 Ann married William Kay (1871) at the Leysian Hall, Holborn, London, thus forming our link with the Chapman family.
